Leman Street

Industrial feel from a concrete-grey microtopping combined with luxury marble.

This reception area refurbishment is located in an office complex in central London. The design refreshed the foyer, giving it a more elegant and contemporary look, mixing materials and fittings of different character and nature for a sophisticated and idiosyncratic feel.
To increase cost efficiency, we used a concrete-grey microtopping which we applied to all the existing surfaces, bringing them to life. We were able to retain the existing reception desk.

Concept design through to completion

A stunning Arabescato Corchia bookmatched marble has been used on the walls and for the bespoke seating. Brass wall lights and a circular suspended light above the reception desk pull together the industrial sense of the microtopping with the luxurious feel of the marble.
In addition to the central focal point of the desk, the new office directory contained within the cinematic light box behind, draws visitors into the space.
The building remained open to all normal use during the works.
